As you all know, our forum is dedicated to Trance, because we all believe that Trance is the greatest music today. But every now and then, a great House tune comes out, one that bedazzles everyone, even trancers like myself. So here is my first review for a House track: Aphrodite. I have no clue who Paris & Sharp are, but this track is breathtaking. It has the typical House beat structure, and towards the midpoint there actually is a breakdown in which incredibly emotional vocals come in, the likes of Naked Angel. This is followed by a very sweet housey melody later on that really gives a whole ambiance to the track. For all of you who are anti-House for some reason, check this track out - I think it will change your mind.

On the flipside of this vinyl a Paris & Sharp remix of the beautiful SolarStone classic Seven Cities. I'm not expert on House but I can spot a good beat when I hear one, and this one has a great beat! I'm already grooving in my seat as I write this review. Slightly afterwards, some minimal vocals can be heard in the background, and the synth sounds start coming in, with the beat getting more & more jumpy! The breakdown is then unleashed, and we lie awaiting just how Seven Cities can be turned into a house tune... and OH MY GOD! The melody is thrown in with some percussive sounds backing it up and those vocals still present in the background, but when the beat is finally dropped it is dropped without the melody, which leaves you wondering... But after a couple of minutes, the melody is thrown back in with the beat, and DIONYSOS is satisfied again! All in all, decent House vinyl, and recommended for trancers who confuse commercial House with the real deal.
