About this project:
Patrick's Monopoly Project is an experimental photography project (website based) in which I will reconstruct the locations of the famous Monopoly boardgame by taking a photo of every location (and train station) included on the board, in addition to a shot of the road signs of each location.
The other sections on the board, which are GO, COMMUNITY CHEST, CHANCE, JAIL, ELECTRIC COMPANY, FREE PARKING, WATER WORKS, SUPER TAX & INCOME TAX, will also be represented by different photographs taken around London which convey their subjects. The game moving tokens will also be represented photographically.
The project will unfold live, meaning that photos of the different locations will be added to the board as they are taken.
The project will be completed when a photo of every location and area on the board has been taken and uploaded to the board.
Visitors can leave their comments and feedback with the option of leaving a snapshot of themselves, on the website.
