>> TIESTO Comments On LEBANON <<

Hi everybody!
I just came back to Amsterdam, unfortunately, because I was supposed to be in Miami and New Orleans this week. Miami will be rescheduled later this year. I feel sorry for the New Orleans show that had to be cancelled because I was supposed to play for all the people that helped after the Katrina disaster. But I will try to reschedule a date for new Orleans as well next year.
I also just found out that I am number 2 this year in DJ Mag's top 100 list. I would have loved to be the winner for 4 years in a row but if there is one DJ who deserves it for everything he has done for dance music in the last 10 years, it's got to be Paul van Dyk. I am really happy for him and wish him all the best.
If I look back at my October month of touring I must say that it was a very interesting one. I played in Lebanon on the October 1st which was an amazing experience, one I will never forget. You can check the pictures in the gallery. After that I played a weekend in Toulouse in France. Toulouse is a beautiful city with a great crowd. To be honest, better then Paris.
After that I finally returned to Argentina, after my show was cancelled in January earlier this year. I played 2 nights in a row, a club gig on Friday and the big event on the Saturday.
Argentina still has one of the best crowds in the world without a doubt!! I think for a deejay to play there is as for a soccer player to play the world cup final! Actually, I received a signed football shirt of Diego Maradonna, (one of the best soccer players ever) so I wore that when I played my last record. The crowd screamed like they became world champions again!
After that my travel ended in Mexico for a three day tour. I was a bit skeptic about Mexico because I played there a couple of times but we never clicked. This time it was the opposite. First Monterrey, amazing, then Guadalajara, epic!! And after that Mexico city, super. The Mexican crowd was amazing and I had the best time ever in Mexico!
So, thanks to everybody who came to my shows!!
Love,
Tiësto
