Last night at club Pacha in Ibiza, Dutch star DJ Ferry Corsten was presented the award for Best Trance DJ at the annual DJ Awards ceremony.

â€˜It is great to get recognition of the people you try your best for. I am glad to be the one to take this award home.â€™ says Ferry Corsten. Other nominees for Best Trance DJ were TiÃ«sto, Paul van Dyk, Paul Oakenfold and Armin van Buuren.

This was the 8th edition of the DJ Awards ceremony. The DJ Awards were created to recognise the talent, popularity and cultural significance of the DJ's of today. The DJ Awards show is a celebration of gratitude to honour the peoples favourite DJâ€™s in different categories. Besides Best Trance DJ, there were awards for Best Techno DJ (Mauro Picotto), Best International DJ (Erick Morillo), Best House DJ (Junior Jack and Kid Creme) to name a few.

ferry was amazing in lebanon.... w mitil trancelation hes one of my favorites

Even if he plays he's production so what? shu he produce jazz? or dirty pop? he has freakin Trance Tunes, w every single tune he did is massive and a club hit.

He surely Deserves it, he is a Trance legend.
