Rumours have already been spreading the past month or so, but it is now finally confirmed! According to an official press release TiÃ«sto In Concert will take place in the USA this summer. There are plans for 4 concerts across the USA, in Los Angeles, Washington DC, Miami and New Orleans.

For those worrying that the production will not match the Dutch versions of TiÃ«sto In Concert, rest assure, a lot of the effects used in European TiÃ«sto events (Space Mountain Mission 2, Tiesto In Concert NL etc.) such as pyrotechnics, lasers and LED screens will be used in the USA versions too. To add to that TiÃ«sto will be immersed in a massive half-million dollar stage set designed by Bruce Rodgers of Tribe Design, and lit by Stanley Crocker of the Department of Light and Shadow. The technical aspect will be supported by aerial acts, Butoh dancers, Samba and Taiko drummers, flying Geisha singers and much more, to form an international theme that will take the visitors on a journey across the globe.

The first of four events will be held at the LA Sports Arena, in Los Angeles, on the 20th of August. Tickets can be purchased at Ticketmaster or the TiÃ«sto in Concert website, http://www.tiestoinconcert.com. The info for the other 3 concerts will be announced soon.
