Sandler was always going to have a tough time trying to better the superb
'Theme Song' s so rather than more of the same, he's prepared from a
different cookery book for this one. Two mixes are on offer with the Acid
mix opting for it's namesake running throughout the track but it's the
Solid mix that we've baked again and again. Dark and moody with more
atmosphere than a force 10 gale, if this doesn't blow your dance floor
away then check for a pulse.
Sandler’s follows up the superb Theme Song with something a little bit
different this time.

The Mac is back with a percussive two track EP on the Spinnin' offshoot 2 Play. Undoubtedly one of the most consistent, forward thinking and versatile hard dance producers over the years, he's opted for two percussive fuelled underground numbers here. 'Kenetic' is the instant dancefloor favourite out of the two with its rolling tribal rhythm punctuated by massive snare hits and hooky parp-parp, parp synth bursts that conjure up a hip swinging, carnival type atmosphere. The flip side leans further towards techno territory, focussing on a driving percussive groove and atmospheric pads that are reverbed to the max.

What is there left to say about the legend that is Mac Zimms? He responsible for mixing groove and tech like no other. Always copied but never outdone, Zimms has been the leading light for years now and this release confirms that he's just as good, if not better than he ever was. This is the best double A I've heard in the last 18 months and will get smashed by everyone from Tiesto to Marco V to Eddie Halliwell. You can't pick one of the two as they are both that good. Groovy, tough with bags of
attitude. All hail Mac Zimms! Can be played on any dancefloor with same reaction, massive!
