Tsunami Dance Aid is a collective of international party promoters, artists, musicians and supporters of dance music. This collective have made their way to Gecko, at Bophut Beach, Samui to be part of a large scale dance party fundraiser to provide relief for the Thai people severely affected by the Tsunami.
Tsunami Dance Aid hopes to bring in donations from every corner of the globe, with proceeds going directly to the local people in need around Thailand due to the devastation of the Tsunami. Throwing this party on Bophut beach we will send a message of hope, peace & compassion to people everywhere, encouraging them to help rather than feel helpless through an avenue of donation where all proceeds will go direct to the source.
This event is not only for raising money for the people directly affected by the disaster, but to raise awareness that Thailand is NOT a barren country. The east coast of the country is still a thriving tourist destination. People need to understand that Thailand needs tourism now more than ever. It is hoped that hosting an event such as the Tsunami Dance Aid will raise awareness of this situation.
