Artists: Seminal DJ and producer John ‘00’ Fleming returns to kickstart 2009 with ‘Psy Trance Euphoria 2’ on Euphoria/Ministry Of Sound.
Together with the first release in the series, and the revered White Label Euphoria albums, John has already clocked up sales of almost a million copies for the Euphoria label.
Still one of the most underground dance scenes on the planet, Psy-Trance pulls in worldwide festival audiences in the millions on every continent. Fiercely underground, it has shied away from commercial pressures, making it one of the most popular and well-regarded sub-genres of electronic music.
Few are better placed to provide their take on the genre than Fleming, who has become synonymous with taking the music to the next level in the UK and abroad. John recently released another ground breaking compilation with US trance cohort Christopher Lawrence – Global Trance Grooves - as well as remixing rock megastars Muse and Nine Inch Nails. He releases his 00db artist album this Spring via Dutch imprint Fektive as well as a sample CD of his trademark sounds for Loopmasters. John also continues his Global Trance Grooves radio show on Ministry Of Sound - one of the best subscribed on the station.
This 3 CD album captures the current state of Psy Trance. With productions from John and his studio partner, Digital Blonde, there are also cuts from scene favorites including Infected Mushroom, Astral Projection, Wizzy Noise, Fatali, Push, Chakra and many more.
