Yeah, i reckon it will definately have an effect on how DJs view the middle east, or at least Bahrain, in the short-term. However, the fact that the guy got caught, and hopefully will be punished should fix things up. I guess we have to wait and see the legal proceedings..
However, what i REALLY don't understand is how an MTV presenter would try (or seem to try) to coverup the whole issue, as if they were in on that shiznet as well. As far as i know, there hasn't been a statement issued by them in that regards as of yet, nor by B&D.
As for the ravers getting their money back, i reckon that most of them, if not all will probably never see their money back... with all honesty, i don't feel sorry at all for the VIP people that dished out 250$ on that event.
