I read this news today in my daily newspaper. And yes Tiesto is being highlighted in our Lebanese daily newspapers (go figure). Sad but as the saying goes "Shit happens".

Yeah, i reckon it will definately have an effect on how DJs view the middle east, or at least Bahrain, in the short-term. However, the fact that the guy got caught, and hopefully will be punished should fix things up. I guess we have to wait and see the legal proceedings..

However, what i REALLY don't understand is how an MTV presenter would try (or seem to try) to coverup the whole issue, as if they were in on that shiznet as well. As far as i know, there hasn't been a statement issued by them in that regards as of yet, nor by B&D.

As for the ravers getting their money back, i reckon that most of them, if not all will probably never see their money back... with all honesty, i don't feel sorry at all for the VIP people that dished out 250$ on that event.

RAVE + VIP = as retarded as drinking Johnny Walker's Blue Label after mixing it with Cola.....

^ Ey man no offense to Bahrainis or anything. Don't take it the wrong way but like I said, it's not the first time this has happened. Some countries have terrible promoters and a bad EDM scene. I'm saying this cuz of past events. Get my point?
If this offended you in any way, then I'm sorry it did but my intention wasn't to offend the country or its people. If you read carefully, this topic is simply about what happened and the scene in general due to bad promoters.

I'd love to retaliate to your comment about Egypt , but I'm obliged to contain myself for 2 main reasons: 1) i respect you just like anyone else around here and 2) i'm a mod afterall.

so let's keep this cool and move on with the topic.
