Upcoming Releases from Fundamental Recordings

Postby DIONYSOS » Tue Mar 23, 2004 3:52 pm

Busy times on the Fundamental front these days. While their short term release plan includes Solid Globe's Sahara / Kalahari vinyl scheduled for next week and Carlo Resoorts' Meridian project released this week, their long term releases include some sensational follow ups.

You might have already heard Jan Gustafsson's Hallucination. The track is an essential part of the sets of Above & Beyond, GTR, Lange, and Armin van Buuren chose it as his record of the week on A State Of Trance. Hallucination / Eternal Light is scheduled for release late April. Don't worry - Jan's solo single is not at the expense of a new Empyreal Sun release (featuring a breathtaking vocal performance from Elles de Graaf). From Dark To Light will be released simultaneously almost in June by Fundamental Recordings and their UK partner for this project ATCR that issues two fantastic exclusive UK mixes. LNG gave a twist to FDTL whereas Paul Moelands gave a Re:Locate bomb of a treatment to Twisted Reality. That obviously leads us to the new Re:Locate single. Expect nothing but an energy blast from the little wizard. The Re:Locate single is a double A sided piece of dope on plastic called Hurricane / Typhoon and as long as we're talking storms - it makes sense.

After months worth of work, Andy Prinz has just finished the new Astura single Cassiopeia. In the meantime Mondo Records in the UK is ready to kick ass with Cern's pumping remix of Orion's Belt - Astura's classic 2003 Fundamental Recordings debut single.

The new A Force is scheduled for an April release. Atomic Outbreak and Gravitational Waves white labels finally arrived last Thursday and Armin is the first to pick it up... It is a monster of a record. Amir Force Afargan delivers yet again an original outstanding track.

25 year old Dutch DJ Bas van Veen is finally releasing his banging Trance Energy anthem Total Recall. The B side is a surprising knock out mix from Finish success magnet Pete Suhonen otherwise known as Primo Lux whose Turn Point is number one this week on Dutch IDP dance trends chart.

Last but surely not least, Ferry Corsten's classic The World 2004 is scheduled for a third week of April release. The classic 1999 Moonman mix has been digitally re-mastered from its original master tape for the occasion and it's doubled by Greg Murray's take on The World.
