Don't ask me why it took me so long to announce this; between my computer crash and my rushed life it totally slipped my mind!


Anyway, I am delighted to announce that I was selected by Gabriel Batz, Canada's premium Progressive Trance DJ, to be featured as a guest DJ on his weekly show Montreal Mix Sessions. Following the footsteps of Syria's finest DJ export bxtreme, yours truly will have a one hour set broadcasted right after Gabriel's one hour set, both sets forming episode #028. I intended for my guestmix to both live up to the high calibre sets that Batz pulls out every week and to the heavyweight guest DJs he's been hosting, whilst offering something special, different, unique, which stands out by not being just another Trance set. And so I went on experimenting with sounds up until the final outcome was a careful blend of electro-influenced ProgTrance on one hand and dark-edged ProgTrance on the other with some techy influences here and there... a musical salad really, just as I intended it to be. A very experimental set, one that may not be completely loyal to my usual sound, but at the same I absolutely love every single track I selected, so it's all good. It also stays true to the more house-ish atmosphere of Montreal city, so I hope it doesn't bounce back at me!


I hope you'll be able to tune in and come back for feedback (constructive feedback being the most beneficient form of support), and I'll be posting the tracklist once the episode goes off air.

Besides, I wasn't bobbing my head to the music, I was nodding in approval to whatever Tala was telling me. Strangely, I was agreeing to every single word she said that night which caused me to nod my head for three consecutive hours... Isn't that strange? It's strange!
