silver_edge there is a difference between bashing and criticizing. In our case here some members criticized the flier and stated their opinion. Bashing is when you do not state your opinion and use some previously established judgments to continuously bad-mouth other people, like a very mature promoter on this forum whose ego cannot be contained in a concentration camp and has the worst history in organizing events in this country and that I now respect as much as the Ayam festival organizers. When you criticize just for the sake of criticizing that's bashing. The guys stated their opinion and quite naturally there are some people for and people against, even though it took a little turn to the worst but that's natural. And I'm glad I live in a country where the biggest fights happen online while in other countries some people get shot for smaller and more ridiculous reasons than this one. I have already stated my opinion concerning the flier, and to sum things up it should NOT be about the flier, it should never be like that, but it's our Lebanese nature to do things this way so be it, in the end we move on and forget about it.
And this is BUSINESS, pure and simple. No one will ever collaborate with the others to help them make money, it's every man for its own, so dude you can stop living this utopia that someday organizers will join hands, because out there it's every man for his own. And believe me no one laughs at those arguments because it's quite natural to fight over something (God knows we had a fight over a piece of decoration last year). We are a small loving trance community and promote trance better than anyone in this country, and I won't mind if every now and then we clash one against another because what world would that be if we all agreed on everything and smiled?
All the parties involved in this small feud are people that I consider good friends of mine and that I respect a lot. Sometimes they might go over-board with their comments but at the end of the day everything comes back to normal and we're back to having mature conversations between each others.
Welcome to DJ.Malaria you may wonder why I called this group Dj Malaria.
Just like Malaria takes over a person's body when it hits them i want my music's originality to control the soul of whoever hears it in that sense my music is more powerful than Malaria, and I'm sure it will but in a positive way of
course.
