as we've promised here's the details about TTR Dedicated SHOUTcast Radio:
TTR dedicated test server has sucessfully made it,
it was up and running healthly the whole past week.

We are now featured on Nullsoft's Shoutcast directory, so finding and
listening on our server should be a breeze!

How much does it cost?

Absolutely nothing. We thrive to deliver a high quality broadcast for
any human owning a computer!

So how so I listen?

There's not a lot going on there at the moment, but feel free to take
a listen to check your computer and net connection can handle it; we
don't want you missing out on the big launch now, do we?

You will need the following:

For Windows users: Windows Media Player 9 or higher, or Winamp
version 5.1 or higher.
For Linux users: XMMS 1.2 or higher, or mplayer HTTP support. Has
been reported to work with Kaffeine, but no guarantees.
For Macintosh users: Mac OS 9 or higher.

Internet connection: At least 8kbps download speed; so a Dial-up
speed of 50k is just enough. IDSN, Cable, and ADSL is more than
plenty. If you do experience issues, like very long buffering times
or cut-offs, make sure you close any open downloads or peer-to-peer
software and try again.

Home network users: Our Shoutcast server runs on ports 8000 and 8001,
make sure your router allows access these ports for a lag-free,
enjoyable listening experience! Most users need not worry, all newer
routers automatically configure themselves using UPNP.

Sign up to TMT Forum http://Forum.TMTUnited.com and PM either Deadstar
(*-*)DaNnY(*-*)or Amr. I am more than happy to
answer any technical question whatsoever. If you're having problems,
don't be afraid to ask! Amr will deal with scheduling and comments,
PM him if you have questions relating to the shows and their content.

Downtime?

Yes, as with any internet related situation, expect a bit of downtime
here and there, especially in the initial stages whilst we tweak
things to run smoothly! Depending on listeners and funding, we plan
to move our server to a static host for 100% stability, which will
make things a whole lot easier.

Expect the following downtime:

- TTR Radio will not broadcast on Thursdays, from 4pm onwards.
- TTR Radio MAY be down on Sunday afternoons for maintenance and scheduling.
