Last year's was the single greatest event I had ever been to. Though my usual philosophy in life is to set low expectations so as not to be disappointed with anything below average on one hand and to be over-joyed with anything above average on the other, I went to Armin last year with uber-high expectations, since he's been my undisputed favorite DJ since 1999 and also my favorite producer up till a couple of years back, and even those uber-high expectations were met and exceeded by his performance. This year I'm perhaps not as excited as last year since I've already seen him, only 1% less, but my expectations are even higher than last year's, particularly due to the theme of this year (his 10 Years album) which means more to me than that of last year's (his Shivers album). Last year, Mr. van Buuren compelled me to write what was perceived by many as my finest review to date; will last year's review lose its title this December?
