When we were travelling to Godskitchen global Gathering in the Summer I had only one DJ in my mind and that was the King Paul Van Dyk, looking forward to him so much I booked my place in the front before Arrival, went to the Souvenir Section to check out the latest t shirts and guess what there was note a with PvD logo on saying:

Due to an Illness in my Family I hereby regret to inform you I wont be playing at Global Gathering as my Family come first, but I will come to Birmingham in the New Year and play for you all, I am Sorry this has happened but my Family are my number 1 Priority, and I wish you all have a good time, Thanks Paul Van Dyk

I read this I had tears in my eyes I travelled nearly 200 miles just to see him but then I was treated by the best Paul van Dyk set ever heard at Creamfields so all wasnt lost he was replaced in the last minute by Eddie Halliwell at Global Gathering.

So dont worry Armin will be back!!!

I really wouldn't blame it on the DJ. Its his management who influences him with his decisions.
However, think of it this way: You are always under secure cirumstances and you are a really big name in the Electronic Music scene around the globe. Burnt tires and blocked roads are somewhat tolerant for you but, still feel insecure. What about 2 bombing killing and injuring numerous civilians 4 days before your gig? wouldn't that make you feel insecure? Besides having already postponed an early gig on 2nd of December, 2006.

Well THers, Armin Van Buuren made a promise and obviously he is man enough to keep it and WILL come back to show us how much we mean to him.

Keep your hopes up and stop pointing fingers of blame at one another because that's what messes up the country.

i still strongly believe that Armin didn't break his promise. The tracklist he has for us is the proof! (still foreseeing it but i'ts obvious that a lot of tracks will be from the massive yearmix 06 )
