Tiesto/PVD in leb?

we all just need to wait for the final confirm.when its confirmed.damn..it will be a kickass night.if pvd or tiesto,this is gonna be some damn good trance nite ever held in lebanon!!!!

Well someone of us already knew about PVD coming to leb from his official website,and some were able to guess it from AMADEUS'S post,but if we want to confirm it we have to wait for AMADEUS again to confirm it,since MIX FM and BACARDI breezer are behind this event.

why doesnt Amadeus come here to talk..since he is a pro, id like to ask him several questions regarding mixing and certain techniques... being a beginner trance DJ myself

he does participate often, but u gotta take in consideration that he has a very busy schedule so he doesnt have as much free time on his hands as we do, nut that doesnt make him any less dedicated to this site than we r...anyways if u got any particular questions for Amadeus, post a thread addressed to him in the related section and im sure he will reply 2 u as soon as he can

ummmm i have a simple answer for you The Phoenician.
1st about mixing other styles with trance, well what's good about trance DJs in general that they're really experimental and that what would enrich their music and thus enabling them to always deliver something new and not boring us with the same stuff as in other styles.. and my best example would be MIKE with his RnB project.
Now with the 2nd point of being Cheezy, well i honestly think that the word "cheezy" is being used by many nowadays to critisize DJs.. or just to describe something that went popular. A track will never be considered cheezy if it sells a lot and many liked it.. what about "awesome"? that'll describe it more.. Cheezy is making music that has no feeling, no point, just imitating a style without innovating whatsoever.. if you ask me about cheezy i'll tell you for example some of Milk Inc./Lasgo/Ian Van Dahl/Sylver productions and the likes.. now that's cheezy.. but i dont think Tiesto ever made such songs, IMO he's being targetted especially when he went #1. If he choses soft melodic prod. then he's cheezy.. if he chose hard prod. he's leaving trance and going Techno.. euhhh.. i think it's not fair!! Anyway i hope i didnt offend anyone, this was just my view of the situation in general regarding cheezy prod. in general and Tiesto in specific!!

Regarding the visit to our nation PVD maybe but Tiesto in your dreams... everybody saw the concert last time with these huge technology of surround system and multiple Laser colours..etc ,this techs aren't available in our nation @ this time (...) + nobody from the investors ready or accept to do it as u know ,Tiesto is a big event , we are in beirut not in Gelderdome....

well the biggest disappointment to me was Traffic.... i loved it at first... but then when i heard it later, i felt it was very dry and shallow...

Hi all!! Tiesto could come here at any time, the problem is not technical, the promoters in Lebanon are well experienced and could handle easily such thing especially mixfm and bacardi breezer;they already got sasha, digweed,dany howels, steve lawler, nick warren, & anthony pappa and they are all HUGE dj names.. so I think now they are ready more than ever to get the BIGGEST ... BUT as a disapointment, Tiesto will not be in Lebanon bec of 1 and only 1 reason: his passport has an israeli stamp and he refuses to get in with a new passport.. that's a shame but he has the right to decide what he wants. Heineken won't get Tiesto for sure and this is good for Lebanon because they were very bad organisers with Oakenfold's event.. sorry to say that but this is the truth and all who were there at virgin know what i'm talking about..
as for calling trance a cheesy music or tiesto's music as cheesy that's not the first time we hear it.. But how could it be cheesy and it's the Number one style in clubbing!!!???? and guess what too

Sasha considered my music as cheesy as I played my set after him in Forum ... but i was just playing pvd's & avb's & tiesto's biggest tunes, so I accept if he says it's cheesy cause those 3 dj's are ahead of him in the dj mag ranking.. and he's now 4th..so i can understand his comment ..hehehe although I still consider him as a very big dj and his set was amazing in Forum de Beirut..

Bassel I tried several times to get a confirmation from Amadeus and all failed. I dont think he will confirm now... You have to wait for the summer, and for me I can wait am not going anywhere
