I think its obvious, but ill list the reasons anyways...
For starters, Perfecto is not even close to being as good as what it used to be.. back in the good old days of oakenfold. At the time when he was the best trance dj out there with big mix albums such as "A voyage into trance' and 'Tranceport'......... 'another world' and 'ibiza' were also great perfecto releases. Ever since the start of the downfall of oakenfold, which many people consider it to have begun after his Bunkka album was released (although i consider southern sun, zoo york, and hypnotized excellent songs), , perfecto started dying with him..
Unfortunately. we stopped seeing tracks featuring Jan Johnson being released under perfecto as always, not to add the usual great compilations we used to see.. hell.. we never even saw a single trance release! perfecto has been away from the scene for two whole years! their website has been down for a while now, and they just released a track called Loverush UK - Perfect Honey... which i didnt hear but i think its not even trance...
add to that.. i heard that oakenfold said he'll be retiring end of this year.. and his last set will be on New Years Eve 2005... thats enough i guess
- serisouly, for once we have the opportunity for a non-trance class A DJ + last open air party of the year + it's not too humid anymore, i.e. nice weather, it's already a new experience
