Lights Out 3 is shaping up to be the closest representation of Lawler’s record box and the sound that has been moving crowds the world over be it housey, dark, tribal or just damn fine music.

In good news for fans of all things limited, Lawler has pushed for a third disc to be added to the release. This Limited Edition Harlem Records Mix features six key signings from Lawler's own Harlem Records stable. In pointing out the time spent and the exclusive nature of LO3, Lawler states:

"I’ve spent four months on this. If I’m going to put a product on the shelf I want to spend a lot of time on it. People have sent me unreleased mixes or have given me stuff that's not out until next year. What I want people to realise is that this CD is full of stuff that other people aren't playing. It's very difficult to be fresh without choosing obvious records but I think I've done that. I made this for the dancefloor".

It's been over three years since the first release in the Lights Out series and two years since Lights Out 2. Speaking about how the series has evolved Lawler says,
"If I had to compare the albums, 'Lights Out 1' was very dark, 'Lights Out 2' was funky and chunky and 'Lights Out 3', unlike some DJ compilations out there are, features songs that I really love right now. Basically it's very representative of what I'm playing right now."

This latest Global Underground compilation is slated for an October 3rd release, with Northern Americans receiving it a day later. The revised and final tracklist is as follows.
