sounds awsome!
well i do have alot of such gigs here, so i am kinda of used to what and how to progress in music, the crowd might differ from place to another but the taste aint gonna vary so much, well it shldnt
So i suggest to start with some really interresting vibes ( the people just ate, full tummys!) so physicly their nerves is a lil bit tight.... so you should relax 'em...
Some fusion jazz, the blue notes with a touch of groovy beats with deep house and some chill out stuff, the kind of a lounge music but more progressive, u can add some beats to them by mixing them with deep latin house for example, that way the percussions and latin vocals will add some spices...and then u progress depending on their reaction so u keep on eye on them and watch how their body is moving, if its not moving yet enough u progress more, when they start moving more, its ur signal that they have warmed up enough, so some higher n smoothly faster beats would make them happy and push them to a higher state and from there.... u go boy
The more they r people the easier for you it is to tell when u should progress or drop down.
Its gonna be great i am sure
