My definition of cheesy is clichÃ© trance.
You know... Those Ã¼ber-boring tracks with climaxes that go on lasting for ages, built up with synths that have been used over and over again, and most of the times with a vocal that tries to sound romantic or mystical.
Not all of them are bad. Some tracks do succeed! Most others don't though.
This genre used to be highly popular back in the 1999-2001 era.
Back then it sounded amazing yet now somehow I just got sick and tired of it and most of you obviously not.
Plus you guys are confusing cheesy trance with commercial dance. All those names you come up with are commercial dance productions that have the tendency to be cheesy as well and that end up being aired on most radio stations.
