“I am very excited for my first trip to Beirut. Some of my friends who have been there have told me how great the city is and most of all how wonderful the people are. Its nice that I will finally be in Beirut to experience it. I have been wanting to visit Lebanon for a long time but this is the first time that the opportunity seemed right for me to go there. It usually comes down to a matter of timing and the quality of the event that I am being booked for. This time around the timing of the gig and the event itself seemed right for me,” added the legend.

In summary: AWESOME night! Music wise, waw waw, both Nicole and DT were amazing. finally up-scaled house music in Lebanon, lots of tech house, techno, melting tribal and acid sounds, it was out of this world. check this:


DT has such a control over the crowd, no one could stop dancing the whole night! his track selection is unique and he has a gift to include so many different sounds that you cannot get bored. He took us on a journey, and not only a mental one a la Digweed, a real physical and mental journey. Nicole also impressed me, and she deserves a gig on her own.

I couldn't ID lots of his tracks nor Nicole's. DT said that he will be playing lots of his own productions - remixes that are not on the market. Some of the tracks he played: a great remix of Elements and Smooth Criminal as it is the 1 year anniversary of MJ death, he played 2 remixes of Music is the Answer, of which an acidish one, Green? Velvet's Flash (Danny Tenaglia's Nitrious Oxide Mix). He played until 6:30 or 7.

crowd wise: such a great crowd and vibes, reminded me of the steve lawler - warehouse party and the cox - 2006 one. it wasn't very crowded, so we had space to dance but the place was filled and it surely was filled with quality ppl. for info, Nicole is one of the very few ppl who started it all in Lebanon, she organized the 1st raves here and has her PR, so you could spot lots of oldskoolers. One of the very few parties i fully enjoyed, from start to finish, without looking at my watch at any moment. Real Pity for the music lovers who missed it, it''s one of my top 5 parties ever.

^ yep you did ziz and it was one of those rare magical parties where vibes, music and crowd are in perfect synergy, it doesn't happen often
