Some might hate me for saying this but I was never able to draw the connection between Psychedelic Trance and all this spiritual mumbo jumbo. The music is intense and industrial to the extreme and sounds like nothing "spiritual". Enigma would fit in more for that description, perhaps Moshic's "Salamat" album too, but certainly not Psychedelic Trance. Just because it originated from Goa doesn't justify this entire promotion campaign that associates it with spirituality and whatnot - it's strictly marketing. Psychedelic music is one of the very few music genres I listen to and I've been into it for over a decade now, and not once have I felt this whole "spirituality" argument in the music. Let alone that we all know what culture predominates in psychedelic festivals - I am not blaming drug culture on the music, just pointing out the lack of any "spirituality" in the whole Psychedelic experience.

Sorry for going off topic but it needed to be said. Anyway, all the luck for the organizers, ProgPsy is my favorite PsyTrance subsubgenre so I would've definetly made it were I in Dubai! Chi looks like it's serious with the events it is scheduled to host - the lineup for the next few months is scary! Who can we contact for demo submissions?
