Freedom Festival ... Opens a door to a deeper world ... Something much more beyond my expectation ... Let's say it's one of the best things that happened in my life ... First of all the place had no boundaries ... you could sit under a tree for hours to enjoy the silence of the beautiful nature ... The People were amazing how we share the same understanding of many things ... No one is talking about power politics or money ... The sounds were damn good to keep you stomping not to mention it's quality ... Anyways here you go for a deeper review ...
First of all we reach elvas villa fernando one day before the festival starts ... to see 3 lanes of cars trying to get their way inside ... No troubles or problems happened as we were getting in ... Cars were mainly full of people listening to music and chilling till they get in ... I remember walking through all those cars saying hello to anyone... they'd be glad to answer you back with a big smile on their faces ... you pay your ticket ... you get a thrash basket, freedom ashtrays and 2 condoms which you could use as balloons for later on ...
You enter through the gate to find this wonderful view from the left ... and this from the right ... the weather was mild to give you a natural highness while entering ...
Now it's time to find a place to set our tents ... however the camping site was a bit far from the gate ... the whole place of activity ... the dance floors ... Everything was far from the main entrance ... i'd say they did this to have a better isolation ... away from the main road ... away from any disturbance and close to a lot of trees where people can camp as well ... and that was a smart thing actualy ... camps were isolated also from the parking ...
Fellow psylebbers found a good tree right close to the lake ... so here they land on the land of freedom to set their first tent ... and that was the 1st victory point which will be mentioned in psylebbers history book ... passing from a generation to another

Much appreciation goes for Psylence and psychoG for connecting the tents all together by putting tapestries in between them ... ... So ya sharing is caring ... and ofcourse everyone is wondering what were the other psylebbers doing while others were working ... and here you find the answer --->
Anyways the tents are set and everything is cool ... dear psylebbers need a good place to chill at after the tiring work ... and so we go chill by the dark psy cafe' where you could relax on the floor have a hot drink and enjoy your time ... ...
what a lovely sun that shines upon the one weather is amazing and sky purely clear... ... that's the view you see from our tents ... and thats a clear view of our tents all together ... still the music has not started yet ... and so we're walking right across the tents ... chilling among people ... and we stayed underr this tree where psychoG used to tell us stories about his childhood
... as time passed we stayed at this cafe' talking and chilling ... 2 hrs and the music starts ...
I dont have much pictures when we moved to the dance floor by that time ... got like 2 pictures and they're not clear ... however it started with the olive tree dance ... where khose' was playing his african instrument along with his band ... however they produced music almost at the same level of electronic music ... though they dont have any dj's they were just 3 members ... including a drummer and a bassist ... but ya they drive you nuts ... good for a starting ... and then dark psy was played all night after that ... i was not pretty familiar with the line up by that time ...
That was the main dance floor area which looked like a huge mushroom with fractal decorations from the top and equipped with water sprinklers and smoke machines ---> .... Main dj booth ---> ...
However when you're tired and you want some place to relax ... you head to the chillout zone where ambient psy was played ... you drop there for a nap or sleep or do whatever you want ... ...
Moreover i found the lecture area to be very useful ... I attended a couple of lectures there when i was tired for some time ... ...
Okay that's enough for now ... Do i have to talk that much? ... You should go and experience the spirit of the festival ... much talk and much pictures are not enough ... these are only small moments captured by a lens of a machine ... Hope that everyone could experience what we've passed through ...

My short Review
Greetings to all, this corner is for all u psylebers who experienced Freedom Festival 2007. Here u may express what u feel and explain what u experienced although i know its very hard to put wat we lived into words, i doubt it.
Yes im back to Barcelona now and i can´t believe that it simply ended. A dream a wonderful journey that im definately going to repeat.
Our camp was a rich diversity of ppl: 3 from Portugal, 2 from Egypt, 6 from Lebanon, and 1 from South Africa
This Festival Was the biggest happening this year i suppose, amazing positive vibes amazing people from lots of different countries. I was amazed how safe and how organized it was. The festival was complete it had everything.. from shops, work shops, yoga, massaj, big camping area, water tanks, showers toilets, supermarket, cultural tent, restaurants, a lake, big parking area, internet tent, chill out, places for chrging phones, kids section, and many more.. BIG thanx to the municipality of Elvas and freedom organizers for making everything as easy as possible.
Incredbile line up.. my best where : Vibe tribe , 40% , Talamasca, Sub 6, Eskimo, Ace ventura, Paul Taylor, Psy craft, Sirius isness, Peter Didjital..
I was disappointed with Atmos and Absolum
Chill out area and the cultural tent were my favourite places ... Chill out : where u can lay down and listen to amazing sets and look at the sky... what i didnt like is that there was lots of repetition of the same tracks but didnt matter much ..
Cultural tent WOW .. sessions in the morning, workshops afternoon and documentaries at night.. all about meditation, brain fitness, trance dance, laughing yoga, yantras and mantras and so much more rich information...
Decoration was impressive but cud of been more...
All in all Freedom Festival was one of the best days in my like .. the crew did a wonderful job and it was a total success.. no matter how much i talk about it.. it wont help, words are extremely week when compared to the whole experience.
