Year 2000. I started opening regularly www.mp3.com and checking out the Trance tracks. Obviously i began with the melodic style. The name of the sub-category "psy-trance" sounded attractive to me cuz of the word "psy". After hearing a couple of tracks by the website's bands Goa Syndrome and Imperial Project, i fell in love with the music! I have till today on cds all the releases of those 2 bands.
That night, i went for the first time to a psychedelic event. And i have to say that now i love psy-trance even more than before! There's no music on Earth that is as addictive as Trance (whatever the sub-genre is). That is a confirmed fact for many of us i bet!
Rania and i came to Black Diamond a little bit after 11:30pm. I dunno why but i forgot my camera in the car!
When we got in, we saw the dancefloor less than half full and other ppl sitting or dancing next to the tables and chairs. The decoration is all right with a few big "psychedelic" posters (representing aliens and i think one was showing universe and planets?). What i liked the most was the black light! Most of the ppl were wearing white t-shirts (including me) and that light gave a nice fluorescent effect. The DJ booth is above the bar. The graphics on the screen were so beautiful that i could get lost in this "world" at some moments! We met Psylence at the entrance, Mido and Rabih (psychogenesis) inside. Mido gave us psyleb.com stickers. Too bad we missed Psylence's Psybient set.
At that moment, my classmate Psyclone was playing his Full-On Psy set. I went to the DJ booth to say hi to him. It was the first time i see him in the mix. During this warm-up we sat at the bar, talking to Rabih every once in a while, and enjoying the music
as the time was passing, more ppl were coming. I saw 2 or 3 foreigners (one of them is an Italian friend of Rabih, who described his European friend as an amazing psyhead who doesn't miss psy events). The DJs of psyleb.com were wearing white shirts with the forum's logo and their artist names on the back. A little before 1am Dolphina and Costa joined us.
I remember Tala telling me that she can't stand more than 30minutes of psy. Well... it wasn't what i saw that night
my mind got finally warmed up enough to start dancing to the rhythm of the Full-On! Every few minutes she was giving me this face like "Kamil?! wtf?! is that you?!" 
well yea that's me! 
I love this music and i couldn't stop my body from moving! BUT guess what, she started dancing too and i bet that she was indeed enjoying the music! The power of psy is so huge... that it makes tech-trance look like its little bro which is why i prefer much more psy to tech! 
When Psyclone ended his set, everyone applaused him and cheered him. When he came down we congratulated him for the amazing set he played. There was a track in Psyclone's set with a very beautiful piano melody!
Psychogenesis was next in the line-up. He teased me enough before, telling me that he would play a faster set than Psyclone's! Oh man... that was HELL unleashed at around 1:15am!!! There was no way to get out from this! We were overwhelmed with the psy power that personally i couldn't sit down and rest a little bit! Psychogenesis started with Morning Psy (i think it's 145bpm?) and later on moved to Twilight Psy. These are faster than the Full-On. Psy-Trance took me on a journey that i didn't want to see the end. The graphics on the screen for some minutes were giving this psychedelic feeling, it was like an endless tunnel full of bright colors. During Rabih's set we had a surprise! We met Berna (the fire tornado dancers at Fred Baker for those who don't know) and she gave a show in the middle of the dancefloor with lights instead of fire this time. The stroboscope was giving even nicer effects to this show. Psylence was also playing with lights next to her. When i was seeing Rabih enjoying so much his set, always dancing above with us below, it made me enjoy the music even more! Every few moments the bartender was literally putting the bar on fire with alcohol and doing a show with 2 bottles. Meanwhile 2 nice (body-wise) girls were dancing on the bar. Mido also did a little show with lights, and the thingy (that the Ninja Turtle Michaelangelo uses
) hit my head cuz it slipped from his hands but it was nothing However, there was one thing that luckily didn't kill my mood... 2 ravers (like those that we see all the time at Trance gigs with wax cream on their hairs) started shouting behind me "woo2 woo2!"... i was like "what the fuck are these idiots doing here?!". Fortunately they didn't continue their "show". Dolphina and Costa had to leave at 1:40am. At 2:05am Moudy came! He had work before so he wasn't able to join us at the beginning.
In Rabih's set too there was an awesome track with amazing guitar sounds!
Again, when Psychogenesis finished his set at 2:30am, everyone applaused him. Some already left but i'd say that the club was still full. Now the time came for Dark Dragon aka Mido! Dark Psy was the next sub-genre to be played. I started loving it from the beginning! Why? Cuz Mido played the famous soundtrack of Star Wars when Darth Vader appears on the screen
S.W. saga are my favorite movies of all times 
Obviously the soundtrack was remixed. We continued dancing to the dark rhythm for 30 minutes. The BPM's range was now between 147 and 151! 
We had to leave at 3am cuz energy is needed for... tonight at BIEL
Psy Sessions 3 is a success hopefully and i'm sure that the 4th episode will be too! Hopefully outdoors Goa-style! Another unforgettable night, definitely unforgettable experience and for sure not the last! My presence at Psy Sessions 4 is guaranteed if i'm in Lebanon at that time and i'll bring my camera this time
Genesis, I'm SURE that you would have enjoyed it more than us
I'll say it again: There's no music on Earth that is as addictive as Trance (whatever the sub-genre is)!
