I usually drive back home in the early morning hours to head straight to my PC and dish out a proper review, but this time we're gonna be doing it otherwise.

The thing is, I was perhaps among the very first people who showed up to capture the theme of the night from its first chapter to its fourth, but alas somewhere in the middle of Bossi's set I went outside for a certain purpose, and as a result of the freezing weather and slamming wind I vomited on the spot. I then got up to head back to the venue desppite it all, only to vomit again on my way back, and so I just had to call it a night. I pretty much growsed the living shit out of you, didn't I? :P

This is just to validate why I couldn't attend the second half of Bossi's set nor Marcel's entire set, the one I was eagerly awaiting the most. It's a real heartbreaker that I had to prematurely end my night right after Bossi dropped his remix of This World Is Watching Me, but I was compelled to. All of this entails that I cannot review the night, having missed out on the more significant part of it.

This is why I thought of doing something different for a change: instead of the TH crew providing an official review as we normally do, why not have our members submit their own mini-reviews? So start reviewing people, but please refrain from posting a short sentence only. Another reason why I thought this would be appropriate is that this is RDX's first solo event in Lebanon, so it would be constructive for them to receive detailed feedback (detailed people, not a "gr8 nite" post) from all the ravers instead of a mega-detailed review from just one bigmouthed raver :P

SO LET'S HEAR WHAT YOU GOT! YOU ARE THE REVIEWERS THIS TIME!

OkI! Salemtak Dio !

I arrived to the venue around 9:50Pm..Meeting a bit of the TH members (Great meeting all of you)...to enter the venue at around 10:15PM by then the place was totally empty. Finally Sandeman came on decks and the noise (i dont know the genre he played but it was noise)...At around i think 12:00 came in Lucien Foort playing numerous good tracks blended greatly...The Sound was off, the person we had been all waiting eagrly for took over the decks with a huge introduction...Playing mostly his tracks (i think his first track was Should Have Known (Remix ??))...Mixing mostly EarthMover Tracks (Bilingual,I Love Fear,etc)..while sitting in the VIP section i hear the intro of Tiesto-Traffic (Remix)...The crowd went nuts. Then Came Mr Marcel Woods mixing the finest in hard electronic music..

Lets leave the music alone one second and take the aspect of setup(Lighting,Sound, and Decorations)...let me say that now i know why most ravers use sunglasses in the dark...The Lighting was incredible (i will post some pics)...enough light to make a person go blind for a few seconds! Laser shows and Visuals were astonishing...Sound was good...enough i guess for the FAT bass that was played! 1 thing i didnt like is the fact that the VIP and the VVIP areas were mounted on the bleachers.. a lot of vibrations filled the wooden floor...Other than that The Setup was totally great!

It was too bad the VIP VVIP and Regular sections didnt get packed..VIP and VVIP where empty except for a few people...But there was enough space on the dance floor for a raver to do his THING without a gressy sweaty dude touching him!

Finally Thank You RDX,Promotors and Staff that helped in Organizing this 1 of event..Its was a Great night for me ...Hopefully Everyone enjoyed it....

Again Nice meeting The TH members...

well, it was the worst tracklist i have ever heard in an event ! The tracks played were really outdated, lots of commercial played, it shows how much the djs took us 4 an uneducated crowd ! setup was ok, but definetely not the best lebanon has witnessed and the sound was kind of low but i guess its a requirement for trance (to get clear vocals) !! anyhow i just want to say that im not bashing RDX, i really think what they did in the current situation is a TRUE accomplishment by itself. but they have a long way to go to meet certain standards.

okay here's a little review of the one of the best events of the year for me (musically speakin) !
Music :
The Sandeman : i didn't know the guy but i was pretty sure that he was gonna play a decent tracklist coz usually it is the unexpected Djs that surprises us ! and i was right ! i listened most of Sandeman's set from outside coz i was waiting for a friend ! his Minimal/Electro set was amazing (the crowd went nuts when he dropped Mandarine Girl (Booka Shade) and the guy was pretty cool behind the deck he seems very nice !
Lucien Foort : UFFFFFF i loved his set ! very energetic ! he mainly played Electro House ! dropping amazing tracks (Mason - Exceeder ,Booka Shade - Darko (i think) Eric Prydz - Proper Education (Sebastian Ingrosso Remix) and his last track akhhhh What Else is There (Thin White Dukes Remix) call me commercial if you want but Lucien's set was great and he rocked the dancefloor ! someone should post a tracklist of his set !
Cosmic Gate : Bossi played mostly tracks from Earth Mover album ! the intro track was good ! i liked his set especially the last one Fire Wire !
Marcel Woods : the man of the night ! what could i say ! he arrived with a big smile on his face and he hit us with an amazing tracklist ! droing techtrance tracks one after another ! i LOVED his set ! i LOVE marcel Woods ! he played remixes of By The Way (Red Hot Chilli Peppers) and Mr Brightside (Killers) - Automanual (Marco V) - Advanced - Cherry Blossom - Grasshoper (SVD Remix) ufff - When The Sun Goes Down (SVD REmix) .... okay im not gonna post the whole tracklist ! again i LOVE marcel woods he's a unique DJ !
Setup : the best setup ever to be witnessed by Lebanese crowd ! congratulatons RDX ! Lazers were amazing ! sound System great we could clearly hear the music from all the places ! fireworks were ouff ! like Icepick told i understand now why many ravers wear sunglasses during raves ! i loved the transitions between elements ! 10x RDX !
Crowd : no comment ... poor crowd ... 7aram ! there was no energy nothing ... no screamings during trip moments .... i feel sorry for the DJs and for the organizers ! ya3ne the lebanese people showed that they only follow the names not the music itself ! only TH crew and LR showed some spirit and were screaming loud !
10x RDX for this amazing night ! hope u'll do some others events here in leb ! and 10x Marcel Woods @ all the other Djs

There is nothing better than to watch people showing up in front of Murr's Stadium; coming from different regions of the country in such an awful cold weather for the sake of witnessing and participating in an original event after feeling so enthusiastic for spending Eight Hours of the common Life at one place, as well as under only one single roof: Electronic dance Music!

- About the gig in general:

The introduction for each DJ was kind of long, and many thought their grandmas were telling them a story before going to bed. BUT after all, witnessing a new concept of organization and promotion is very useful, especially that this kind of stuff happens to be important in big and famous gigs likes of Sensation Black & White very frequently. It’s always good for a change to take place in a local and international scene.

I had the chance to catch up with The Sandeman’s set at the very last minutes; it was indeed good, minimal/Electro House elements filled the Stadium and have created a beautiful opening up for the event. The guy did not even care about the small number of the crowd, he did some kind of a sweet interaction with the crowd, so it looked good and offered the people lots of pure positive vibes. It was a lovely spirit.

Personally speaking, I was so underestimating Lucien Foort at first or before listening to any of his real live sets! Well yesterday Lucien Foort proved how fully wrong I was, by hitting the dance floor with some cool heavy electro-ish and House-ish sounds which pushed the crowd to go really mad especially at the middle of the set length. Lucien knew exactly how to build a harmonic set by his clear mixing and switching skills, very well done!

Cosmic Gate aka Dj Bossi greatly switched to another harder and louder world in order to add beautiful sensations which kept flowing all over the venue. His introduction sounded pretty excellent by starting with an astonishing vocal trance track, and merging both emotions and energy in the famous “Should Have Known” original production. Cosmic gate succeeded in turning things even more upside down; Fools who could avoid moving or jumping or reacting with every single hit that Dj Bossi has gotten to offer. Starting from “Analog Feel”, passing by “This World Is Watching Me”, and ending up by dropping two mind-blowing Cosmic Gate productions let the crowd go literally crazy; everyone kept dancing and jumping in every single corner.

Marcel Woods interfered therefore to add more energy and musical heat. Known for his famous productions “Cherry Blossom” & “Advanced”, the set progressively started from heavy and loud elements, reaching to a heavier and louder music! The combination between both Uplifting and Tech Trance created a unique Marcel Woods ambience, and did a change by involving many different remixes such as “Café Del Mar”’s and “Mr.Brightside”. The whole set was all about diversity though some really out-dated tracks were being played; it wasn’t really bad since New Ins aren’t always meant to be played at a particular time!

Eventually, each set wouldn’t exist without the one before. And musically speaking, each of the Four elements occupied a quite important place in remaining the positive dance-floor spirit in the region.
I have personally found a lack of creativity in the decoration. However! Visuals, Lights and lasers were laid out very well. The Set Up was also good.

There weren’t lots of people there. The number of the crowd wasn’t big (Clearly the reason why Gold and Platinum sections looked deserted) , but who cares as long as each one of us was having a good escort! We moved more freely and we had a lot of space where we could share good and sweet moments during the whole night. Missed a lot of people, yet enjoyed my time to the max with some other close friends.

Thank you RDX for making this happen.
Let us people keep this lovely united spirit and the world of music will always remain in peace!

Nothing much to add.. But definitely a night to remember...

You know that feeling you get when you're in the last 30 mins of a long trancy night and you're feeling all wowwed out? Everyone was feeling so at 1:30!
It was definitely heaven for all tech-trance lovers! So much energy we forgot how much of a freezing night it was!

The sets were short, so i guess each Dj had to play much of his production.. I didn't mind that at all. The 4 Djs were great behind the decks; Marcell woods never stopped smiling!!
.. Andthe amount of energy dropped compensated for the fact that the whole event ended early, at 5:00, when we were asked to leave.

The lighting system was the best so far. It can be more improved but it's a good start. We've had a break from the green lazer thingy. Colors changed in accordance to the elements symbols.. You should see how RED the whole place was at the end.

It wasn't much crowded, which is actually an advantage. But who cares about the crowds when u got a bunch of your favorite geeks around?:)
My dear THerz, always a pleasure!! Robbie! It is SO much fun going crazy with u, hehe ur just brilliant with an amazing spirit :).. All you others, m sick of giving you compliments :P..

So.. till the next one!
