that's the Aux send which I "send" the signal of a track on any of the channels out to the EFX-500 to produce that "chugging" echo sound before bringing a track into the mix... it's a teaser but works well... makes average songs sound more peak-hour...

I wish you came up earlier I would've explained...

the effect is then routed back into the mixer on teh 2nd channel (hence why that small fader is up).

you get much more control with the effect on the Allen & HEath than on any of the Pioneer Mixers... controlling the send level and msot importantly the recieve level... fast ups & downs also increase the climax in whatever track you think it fits...

I hope I just didn't come across as a total GEEK! :)
