.. and yes, they perfectly describe the outstanding night we had at Rooftop (Royal Plaza Hotel).
I arrived there with two friends at 10:15 pm, where DIONYSOS was already magically mixing the finest and greatest progressive Trance. Strictly going progressive DIONYSOS was right about what he said: "Trance is about the musical journey, so the earlier you get on board the more you get to grasp the full experience!"
Believe me people, we lived one hell of an experience!
The place (Rooftop) is classy and big! The dj booth was just behind the bar which made the dj-crowd interaction much friendlier. The sound system was good as well as the lightening (lazer show). The place wasn’t that packed at first, but I’m glad that our quality very dear THerz showed up especially the two surprise guests: Psycho and ZiZi! Respect to you THerz!
What a 100% progressive trance’ tracklist played by DIONYSOS! This young extremely talented dj proved once again how much he deserves to be respected; first time at Podium and now again at Rooftop. The perfect selected tracks seemed to harmonically flow from an inexhaustible reservoir of blessed tension, filling and fulfilling each and every single musically-dehydrated trancer! DIONYSOS succeeded in diving into our depth offering us a glimpse of heaven. And who said heaven is not a place on earth?! Well we were there, we felt how beautifully the tracks were matched up and how nicely DIONYSOS’ message was delivered; live Trance, you’re in heaven!
The tension kept on flowing irresistibly while we ravers were dancing and dancing. Besides, DIONYSOS continuous gorgeous smile on his face and his unstoppable interaction with his crowd (especially with THerz who were desperately waiting for this night to come) represented the flame of his always burning love to his music which increased our excitement to the music and pushed us to ask for more! Moreover, as unique and unimaginable this could seem, DIONYSOS provided us with what was beyond our level of acceptance; he amazed us, he truly did with his killing tracks and his so professional technical skills.
Certainly, within the mystery that came to us and penetrated us, there was the quite definite “command” to “abide” in the love of music, and through DIONYSOS’ perfect delivery we participated in this love and proceeded from our initial “normal” state to the very opposite: magic! With every track, he was progressively switching to more energetically deeper tracks until he reached his peak; our weak point! Energy, tension and power were ruling. That was, with no doubt, a “once again” successful night for DIONYSOS!
At around 1:20 am, our much loved Dj Johnny took over the decks respectfully mixing over DIONYSOS’ last track. I thought I lost all my energy at Saleem’s set, but I found out I was mistaken. Johnny knew how to let out the left energy in us and actually “create” new energy. Not to forget his vivid interaction and his stunning taste in selecting tracks (he has his ways) .
Great djs know what their crowd is expecting from them. Johnny is a great Dj, therefore he knew what we were expecting from him: more energy!! That’s what he delivered. The tempo was progressively increasing along with the energy level. An excrescence in tracks was keeping us waiting for what was coming next. Johnny has succeeded once again in bringing out the pure essence of the track played. He delivered right up to our expectations, even more!
With his highly regarded professional and proper use of technical skills, he made us unfold our enthusiasm to purely live the music with every single beat and instrument to the very last drop of energy. However, we couldn’t stop dancing although we could barely stand on our feet. Uplifting lifted us up again, thinking only about our passion, desire and our number 1 reason for being there: TRANCE! Trance music got what it truly deserves from one of the most respectful local Djs in Lebanon. Johnny wisely chose the tracks, smoothly mixed them and amazingly lived the full experience just like we did!
I stayed till the very last track, and I wished it didn't end. Johnny officially ended his set at around 3:30 am. I was sitting on the bar, gazing at Johnny trying to figure out: how can a Dj be so "wonderful"? (Ask Johnny for answers

That was the best moment of the night for me, and perhaps the peak emotional moment throughout the night. U really knew how to pump it up and get us all dancing like crazy. Massive energetic set indeed. I'd hardly miss ur comming gigs again
