Johnny: As e-sam told you, it seems you forgot to add IMHO!! pls man, refrain from throwing such statements unwisely, coz some might think you're speaking in the name of TH which isn't the case in your latest statement (maybe you were too hungry! next time i see you dinner on me )

DIO & Bassel: chill guys and dont take things personally, although i'm also not in favor of Johnny's statement, i think you both shouldnt feel offended the slightest coz when someone talks about a REFERENCE, it's not the same as A TALENTED DJ! you can be very very talented but yet not a REFERENCE!! it's not a question of being lucky, have enough connections or an opportunity to play out there! even if you play the same style of music.
To be a REFERENCE you have to be able to deliver your music to others and be heard! so in the term of REFERENCE you both dont apply as candidates in here coz (unfortunately) you dont have a Radio Show, nor the opportunity to play in a club!! so until hopefully you guys get a chance to do so, you can feel comfy that no one is underestemating your talents (nor of any other DJs for that matter..)

well i say they are the greatest in lebanon, but not the only, with the right opportunity many others could contribute as much as they did.
But Thanks to them, the scene is growing

On Topic: Wish i could have attended that event and all the other events that has been taking place down in Lebanon. As System-S said, John Digweed's music is not "general" house music, its his own sound to what he has become famous and known for. Maybe your a hardcore trance fan ... but you also admit that you do like maDJam's house sets ... now isn't that House music itself? How are you calling yourselves "Hardcore Trance Fans" when u accept other genres as well. Maybe you didn't enjoy Digweed's set at this event due to the sound system ... or maybe to the monotonous of his tracklist, but do NOT judge him immediately just by one event...go and check out different sets that he has pulled up and then make your say. As far as I can say ... a lot of people in TH (who also enjoy trance like crazy) enjoyed it, so that doesn't mean the event sucked.

I'm sure every single DJ that played threw a great night in their own manner. Great job!
