I didn't want to interfere before hoping this debate would be sealed quickly but apparently it's still going on for the second day in a row and starting to damage the image of the forum and the topic. I hope that after this post the topic will be back to being strictly about Ferry's night.
Homosexuals exist in our community and in all communities, you run into them in raves and outside raves and you often don't even know it. Not all homosexuals are waiting for raves so they go out under-dressed and start making out with the next random guy/girl they see! Most of them are just there for the same reasons we heterosexuals are there, i.e. not sexual reasons, but musical reasons.
Some of them display "sexual" acts, but look closer and you'll see that more heterosexual couples display the same acts, but the homosexual ones stand out for you because it's something you're not used to. But I don't hear you complaining about heterosexuals making out, except when this argument is brought upon you. Why? Because they don't "insult" YOU? Well it's just not just about us, ESPECIALLY IN RAVES. Last time I checked, rave culture was all about being united as one under the umbrella of music, not differentiating between hetero and homo! Even more interesting is the guys complaining about other guys making out but not complaining about the homosexual girls doing the same! I guess if it quenches your own sexual fantasies then it's not so "wrong" after all, is it?
I'm getting tired of reading the same remarks about homosexuals in raves year in year out. GET OVER IT ALREADY! Since they bother you so much, if they're making out in front of you just look away! And if they're exhibiting a dance show right next to the DJ just shift your eyes a notch and stare at the DJ!
Or you can walk the more civilized, open-minded, non-traditional, humane path and just accept them as part of your community. It would make your rave, and theirs, much easier.
P.S.: I CAN'T WAIT TO BE ACCUSED OF BEING HOMOSEXUAL JUST FOR STANDING UP FOR THEM!!!
