ummm im really sorry .. but is that a bull taking a sh*t?????
sho ta7aryeh ma ta7aryeh .. no 1 yet has even heard about that!! allllll the people that i know (and i mean ALOT of people) didnt even know that the gig exsisted on that day...

im sorry (once agaiN) but nah .... i dont believe that ta7ariyeh stuff .. and 7awejiz .. blaaaa

well i havent said anything about friday night but i read everything everyone said carefully, thought id give my opinion now...
I was really looking forward to friday night. I mean thrillseekers : WOW
they are amazing.
When i got there, i noticed that the amount of people were less than for example other events such as ferry. but i wasnt surprised. i was of course expecting a lower turnout. we have to consider some things:
1) a lot of lebanese people only go to events for the name and title. like for example : "tiesto the number 1 DJ" now everyone wants to go. i know this from what ive heard from people around me ever since tiestos gig was announced. unfortunately, we live in a commercial society. the people that are going to tiesto to hear "just be" for example do not actually value what tiesto does. i love his album in search for sunrise 4 and i want to go hear it all on oct. 1st
2) i dont think it has to do with the place. inno some people when i told them about this gig thought if its at cyan then it wont work or whatever... but i think about it this way: if ur fav dj was playing at ur near by garage wouldnt u go see him?
3) I LOVED THE NIGHT

I have nothing to say more than this.
I dont know about the darak stories, the 5000 stuff, the sucky security... so I wont comment about those.
But it was nice having a small amount of ppl, like roland said, it was like a private party, u could see the joy on everyone's faces, i had the most wonderful time and even though the sets were short i will never forget friday night. i heard some of the most amazing music in my life.
and i will never forget mr. steve jumping on top of the table screaming to the crowd

that memory will last me a lifetime
andy moor's face well.. hes still a kid (quoting esam

) i dont think hes able to hide his disappointment much.
it truly was a great night. bascially my only complaint is that i wished the night lasted longer... but even with its shortness the thrillseekers set is the best ive heard all year!
but thats ok, i hope they both come back. id be the first person buying tickets to see them again!
oh and btw, it was so nice meeting all you THerz up close and personal hehe.
Dj Tracid, ptq, Roland.. Shy ism... (i wont say samer and e-sam i met u before

) all of you are amazing
cant wait for another event!!

you are extremely talented and lebanon must be so proud to have u

I would like to comment on few points discussed in this topic that really disturbed me. Before I start I would like to make something clear that we are all working for a better clubbing scene in Lebanon and neither I nor anyone here would like to see the opposite.

In Lebanon everything is possible but to a certain extent that the impossible is somehow out of the question. The event didnt gather a lot of clubbers but I dont think that there is a conspiracy theory going on. I dont think the roads were blocked and people were asked to change destination from Cyan back home or some other place. My dear friend jackbeans it is okay to admit the first event wasnt a success. It is okay to hold the responsiblity. However, it is not okay to bash the lebanese clubbing scene and to scare new future organizers from entering the scene. What you have posted before are very serious accusations. These are in my opinion only rumors that will hurt the clubbing scene instead of helping it and like I said in my opening statement neither I nor anyone here want to see this happening in Lebanon. Thanks for the event man you did a great job bring two big names and a great warmup DJ. I hope in the future I dont read replies like this because I am convinced it is not true and Lebanon is not like this. Everyone is free to do whatever he/she wants because it is a FREE country.

Dear Gotcha it's all abt the drink??? lol when u go to other gigs it's the same choice of drinks and the same prices y didn't u complain abt the other ones too? so don't complain abt this gig it was PERFECT!!!
