Steve Lawler in Lebanon was one of the most incredible gigs I have ever witnessed. Quality music from beginning to end from madjam to desyn to steve and in the deep room jojo and amadeus, wherever you step your foot you quench your thirst for the music you've been expecting!

Steve Lawler delivered an extraordinary set after Desyn and madjam did the perfect warmup till around 1:30 a.m. Loved the crowd reaction and the setup as usual was mindblowing with a great enhancement in the sound system. It was indeed unmissable and shame on whoever stayed home for no reason . I had a great time working and also partying with my friends all night long, it was something to remember!

I missed many of you including Marquis and JayCM and all the others I didn't meet, see you at the next one!

Well, the event last night was enjoyable but certainly not the best i've been to.
I arrived there at 2:00 am (i think that should be an enough reason).
One can directly notice the crowd difference between lawler and digweed (much less this time).
Lawler did a good job, although it took me a while to get in the mood.
TranceHitters were jumping as always (JAD and pathos, nice to meet you, stop hugging in public )

Although lawler was great, but i couldnt wait till Amadeus started his set in the deep room. Honestly i was disappointed. The decoration of the deep room was not much. The sound was terrible. I mean you're not supposed to be hearing fainted tech house tunes at the breakdown of a track right?? Also, melodies were barely there. You would be waiting to hear a melody of a track you adore, but all u get is the bass! I tried changing locations, but everywhere, sound was not much great.. And finally, the track selection... I mean they're great, some of them are MARVELOUS (stargazing), but honestly, i had in mind newer stuff than our old beloved metro, first state, other side, and so on.. I guess Amadeus wanted to please the whole crowd by playing some stuff they could recognize... But I had hopes i would be hearing some of my current favorites.. Anyhow, it was nice seeing Amadeus mix this close, great mixing skills he's got! (we already know that i guess )... couldn't stop watching from so close all night long..

[align=justify]Following my trip to the capital of clubbing (London) last November, I was so full of hope for my fellow ravers/clubbers who didn’t have the opportunity to witness house music evolving in 2005 due to the absence of house gigs in Lebanon…and house has surely evolved in 2005… Rejuvenated… So many styles interacting: progressive, breaks, electro, tech, melodies, acid…. New technology, more data exchange, more communication, new artists, have surely give birth to the new sound of house music… Less boundaries, more freedom, more quality as well...

Didn’t know what to expect for this one…. For me, this gig was the moreof a test for house music in Lebanon than Digweed’s…

Reached the Warehouse early, at around 11:00, and the venue was still pretty empty…. Although Mario Ochoa’s gig @ b0 the previous day gave me hope (vibes wise), won’t hide that I was bit worried at that moment and wondered if in fact Lebanon can contain so many events, if there was really a scene being born or just a wishful thinking? Does house belong to clubs only and should be revived there?

The venue’s setting was the usual rectangular one, with VIP sections on the sides and the DJ “stageâ€

What a night? I was not planning to go but at around 11 pm I went with SamEr. Musically Lawler appealed to me more than Digweed. His variety in sound turned the dance floor into a homogeneous dance freaks. All jumping together and shouting one thought "I LOVE CLUBBING". The local DJs were stars, and I'd like to congratulate everyone of you for making us proud.

Thanks for all the hard work put by the staff of Mix FM and Bacardi. Thanks for GFX and the staff behind the effects. Carlo its always a pleasure to meet you.

Marquis: I didnt see you Khalas next time we have to meet!!
