After Armin’s gig got postponed for the 2nd time, I badly needed to party like everyone else! When I heard about Marco V’s gig I was happy but not much because from what I’ve heard his style is tech-trance and it’s the sub-genre that I like the least. A few days later, I read Amadeus’ topic about his coming gigs. I HAD to go to Bank!
Our group was composed of reemze, Ziggy, Tranced, Psycho and myself. We came to Bank at around 23:30 and when we got in we saw Raneem at the bar with his friends. The place was not even half full at that time. The warm-up set was cool, warming up the people obviously
but in my case the house/electro music doesn’t do any effect on me. I stayed calm during the whole set sitting with the others on the table, taking pics and laughing about jokes and stuff. We also met kevo21 I was checking the entrance every few minutes for Johnny and Amadeus because we were impatiently waiting for them. Rima sent them an sms at around 00:30 and 15 minutes later they were here! They came straight to our table to say hi. Raneem joined us to say hi too. Then they went to the DJ booth. We had to wait another 15minutes for the beginning of Pure Trance Energy set.
The intro was just perfect, the way I love it! After the 2nd track (Black Is The Colour) we all changed our place definitely and went under the DJ booth. With some tracks we had a little memory problem
we couldn’t remember their titles and it really does piss off! 
I could ID 6 tracks I think, although I know the rest. I loved the sound system a lot! Every single element in the tracks was clear! My mind was enjoying every melody, every bassline and female vocals (obviously hehe 
). Later in the night I asked Johnny when his mashup was going to be played because I was getting impatient to see the reactions of others and consequently Johnny’s reaction! He told me “very soon”. And there it was! He was so happy to see that the crowd and especially us THerz loved it! Amadeus was singing some of the lyrics with Johnny and others! I’m telling you guys, this mashup is a success! Big congratz to Johnny!! A few minutes later we were all sitting and when we heard Dream of Peace we stood up instantly and gave full support to Amadeus!
At around 3am people started leaving the place. Reemze was feeling very tired so she left with Ziggy a little bit later. As 4am was getting closer, there was a track that I recognized from the beginning but I couldn’t remember its title despite the fact that I know it very well and even have it in my car among my favorite tracks! It wasn’t easy to find its title in my memory so late at night! I tried as hard as I could and I finally remembered when the melody came in. It was 3rd Moon – DNA. This is when a huge smile appeared on my face
I got so happy that I went to see Amadeus and thank him for playing it! I felt obliged to send an sms at 3:45am to my Polish friend Ania (Sweety at TH.com who’s also a DJ) and tell her that our #1 DJ was playing the track of one of the best Polish DJs (#4 in national ranking)!
We left at around 4:15. There were around 20 people at Bank at that time. While going home we listened to the 2nd hour of Vonyc Sessions with John Askew on MixFm
The event poster perfectly described how I felt during the set. I was indeed taken in an amazing trip in trance with hypnotizing melodies and I hope to attend very soon another gig by Amadeus!
