Seems it was a great event, i'm sorry i wasn't able to make it as i was trying to work it out i get unexpected devistating news very dear to me which prevented me on going down for support...
I hope that you will have another chance to showcase your amazing talent..Congrats for the first and hope that the next is better...

Since i'm an optimistic guy, i'll say this was a 1/4 to one half successful event for Serouj, instead of saying one half to 3/4 failure. I came to Milk at 00:45am to find Dio, Johnny, TAX and Serouj at the table near the DJ booth. I was looking forward because it was Serouj's first time! And when he started at 1am, the intro couldn't be any better! It really lifted me. Groong and Formentera What made me smile and nod my head. Then at 1:20am something happened. C-rouge was asked to stop playing Trance cuz someone wanted "commercial shit" (that's how i call the music played in lebo clubs), although the one asking for that knew that Trance is our friend's style when they made the deal! After some arguing, they agreed that our friend would start at 2am.
Concerning Serouj, i liked how he enjoyed mixing on his first time, even after what happened. Concerning me, i was already a bit tired after the party at Batroun the night before and i wasn't in the mood anymore after what happened at Milk. I hate such mentality and attitude! I also hate how Trance is not accepted, and how this qualityless music is loved by the clubbers. What i also hate is the hypocrisy of the Lebanese clubbers attending events with PvD, Armin, Tiesto and Ferry Corsten! 96% of those clubbers leave clubs when the "commercial shit" ends and when Trance begins, but when those megapopular DJs come to Lebanon they show off around saying "I love Trance!!! I'm a Trancehead!!! I know everything about PvD, etc..."................... for fuck's sake shut the hell up!! Such behavior is very trashy for me...
To go back on-topic, Serouj is a talented producer. His album was #1 at Virgin, and the support i saw that night is not higher than 5%. Our friend could count on us. When i saw first that he was asked to stop Trance, and then how the club got empty when he started playing again, i got and still am very disgust

Congratulations C-Rouge! I'm sure it felt great. Tell us more about how you felt being up on the booth for the first time. It would be great knowing how it felt.

Dioooo thats a huge review

After reading it, I'm back to life!!
Special thanks to my dearest ones who came to support me (I have to specially mention Beavis & Dionysis, backing me till the last moment)!! Seeing you all by my side would make me feel comfortable no matter what!
Since im also a very optimistic guy, I would take it as an experience. I learned too much in a week, & I learned much more in a few hours. I'm never regretting. The main mistake was I think the "event organizer"'s fault. I felt that MILK's OWNER has no idea about me even, & I didn't see any single poster IN or OUT of the venue, although I delivered them myself! If he doesn't think that TRANCE music suits his club mood, then why to accept me from the first? What I can say is , very bad-charactered person!

Unfortunately, After a few tracks, at around 1:20 AM While playing my unreleased track "PRAYER" which made the crowd CLAPPING so hard, and which was an AMAZING feeling watching people go wild on your own track, I had to hand over the decks to the resident DJ with his house music set. I think that was a very bad idea, at least the crowd was right in the mood for TRANCE since DJ G.D. was warming up with his nice house/electro music set.

After getting back on stage @ 2AM, it wasn't really enjoying, and after around 30 minutes of mixing, experiencing the worst headache feeling of my life (forgetting to turn off the loud monitor behind me)

which caused me some beat matching mistakes, I COULDN'T CONCENTRATE AT ALL. I was just mixing randomly actually, just hoping to see people leaving and stop everything.

I honestly have nothing to say for the organizer. I know how it feels when they ask you to stop, or to play something different.
Anyway, it's just a first gig, and hopefully you'll have much more mr Serouj!
