...all he had was a small bag... a laptop, in-ear monitors, 2 "digital CDs" and Serato... and some KICK-ASS techy-dubby-bleepish tunez!

Where's the video you ask? well got one, it's a massive 221MB that youtube wont accept (100MB limit), photobucket is trying to load it, but might be too big as it's just making these really annoying clicking noises... will re-size with one of my editors @work...

I'll upload once we get that done :)

(Monday Morning now)

and here is the link to the video (a must see!!)

Pretty cool pictures! I'm just loving the fact that he's just like me :D A laptop DJ! He's using traktor isn't he?
Question though: How the hell did his ear-phones cancel out the sound from the surroundings?? Must be some new tech shit from Japan right?

P.S: maDJam, I need some tool-tips on the xone:92. My friend got one and its simply amazing but there's a lot of shit I'm sure that can be done on it right?

Welcome to DJ.Malaria you may wonder why I called this group Dj Malaria.
Just like Malaria takes over a person's body when it hits them i want my music's originality to control the soul of whoever hears it in that sense my music is more powerful than Malaria, and I'm sure it will but in a positive way of
course.

Satoshi Tommie = "Quite and un-assuming fella".

He is the one that first got me into House.. his style and choice of tracks back then were considered evolutionary... he was the pioneer "Main Stream house DJ" to fully adopt the technoish/Minimal house style... which has a couple of years later.. become a mile stone subgenre that all successful House DJs (mainstream) either fully immitate or incorporate into their sets in one form or another.

he was the first DJ that attracted me to the Japanese style of doing EDM, and he acted as a gateway drug that lead me onto the most futuristic DJs/Producers and EDM lifestyle for Trance, Harddance, DnB and even Psy~

P.S. if i was anywhere close to the Middle East.. it would be the most l33t choice of the gigs offered!

"Satoshie is the best product of Japan since Godzilla".

erm u obviously haven't gotten to know yet, what i consider the best Producer in the history of HardDance and Trance.... Also a product of Japan..

Hey guys.. as I mentioned he uses "SERATO" from RANE software on his Apple Mac... to Mix your tracks you need to use either a turntable or a CDJ to CONTROL it... not Traktor, and NO AUDIO CDs... he's been using in-ear monitors for a while now (at least 2 years) basically you cue on one ear and listen to the monitors out of the other... I personally don't enjoy that cause it blocks hearing your crowd, and whenever you need to walk around the booth (and the coiled cable aint long enough) you need to detatch the earpiece tube from the rest of the system.

Shure is the brand that make 'em... they're mainly used for bands/guitarists..etc

however he uses his system well... and the DJM-800 I'm gonna have to re-discover now that we got one for the club

well if u have 2 laptops maDJam and a mixer, nd u adjust ur settings on Traktor to mixer out on each, i think its the same as playing on dex! u would be able to control it! I don't recommend the new traktor (3) it sux ! since it takes the pitch not the master pitch, that's why it might be crazy and uncontrollable! but if u use traktor 2.5 its amazing!
