Okay the first of 2 nights for Armin back in the Middle East....
we (Peppermint/Fluid people) arrived early in the morning to Bahrain- first stop was the venue to check it out.... really hot day (37 degrees at 8:30am according to the pilot that claimed it was "beautiful"!)
Armin's private bathroom... never actually used by any of us, though!

Picked up Armin, Blake and his Production manager from the airport, then headed to Seef Mall for a press conference
Had some "Soto" Japanese Dinner, arrived to the venue at 11:30pm avoiding as much traffic as possible, and singing cartoon themes in the car including our theme song "Manamana... da da da da-da.."
It all started because he wanted to know what is the name of the capital of Bahrain...
you can only imagine where it went from there... 4 guys in a car in Manama Bahrain singing a Seasame street classic re-make!
Armin claimed "he gets nervous" before he starts...
Meanwhile Blake Jarrell, cool 22 year old from chicago was warming up.
And the gig took off!
Some issues on the door with "too many invitations" will explain in private if you care to know

We got Beirut & 2 in Dubai, now we add Bahrain to our photo album
So, I can't say much about the tracks- I'm sure Wael "B" will ID them all!
About Armin though... he really is a cool fella- it's great that most of the DJs we've had over have indeed been friendly. Talkative to everyone- and of course I brought up the Beirut issue a number of times saying "if the February gig wasn't cancelled it would've still been packed besides the bus bombing"
He totally understood and kept saying "damn... I really wanna go back to Beirut, I really love that place"
So no hard feelings from him as "a decision was made and I didn't go"
We later chilled & watched AMAZING DMC Championship mixing on a DVD he had with him- all 3 of us DJs were blown away with the likes of DJ Craze, A-Trak, Q-bert, and a few others including some Japanese guy.
Then before I headed to my room to pack & fly back to Dubai we all sang our Bahrain theme song "Manamana"!
So tonight the Peppermint Experience with Armin & Faithless... pictures to come tomorrow... of course!
