Here's what it kinda looked like:

Qube- massive venue with lots of potential (if they just control the door a lil' better and get rid of that band that plays every night except special events like the one last wednesday)

Doha streets:

Venue:

Rain (more of it in Dubai & Doha than Beirut so far this year)

With Joe Mitri

With (Hu)Sam Rammahy (managed to get a Xone:92 for the night- thanx!)

Lolita (Trilogy Dancer/ M-Level Dubai 2003-2004)

Not bad at all Doha- I was warned to expect the crowd not to dance or like the music- but ended up playing what I enjoy and it was alright.

Lots of ACS-ers and AUB-ers all making a move to Doha if they aint out here in Dubai.

The City has lots of potential especially with the growing # of ex=pats that keep moving there- just a matter of the authorities NOT to close clubs (such as Amigos) down.

(been wanting to post this since last week but the other job has been hogging all the time, sorry I didn't post this earlier)

I see Mido too and it seems you took your Xone:92 with you? It also looks like they didn't supply you with that third MKII!

Actually the 3rd CDJ-1000 is on the far left of the DJ booth (near the case-logic) I used that for the effects and sound bytes. It was fun bouncing back n fourth hitting play, pitching-up while stretching my arm like a rubber-man to get the fader up/down.

I didn't take my Xone:92 with me, Sam managed to find cool guys in Doha that lent it to him for the night (at no charge!)

you'll notice the rack-ears on the one int he pictures, I never installed the ears on mine (yet)...

and yeah, mido was there!

Fuck Me, Doha is DOIN IT. Think tgheyve stopped dumping Camels in their Boot and moved forward for a change, and Plenty of Fit Birds MaDJam couldnt resist them.
