This event is part of the ISOS5 Tour.
The Dragonfly in Niagara Falls is a club inside the Fallsview Casino. For me, it was a new experience! I have never attended a DJ event in a regular, small crowd club!
The place is nothing spectacular: nice dancing space, long bar, lots of Buddha statues...
I got there at 12h, DJ Mark Oliver (I think he is a resident in the Guvernment, Toronto) was warming up. I'm not good with styles and tracklists but his set was mostly Hard/Tech. No tracks that i know! But his set got me nicely warmed up, which is the point!
Then, came the #2 DJ.. His entrance was quite discrete, which was disappointing. I only knew that Tiesto started his set because i heard the crowd cheering. The DJ booth is located to the front left of the dancing spot, and there is a small window through which you can see the DJ from very close. It's quite different from the "Throne" setups they use in Beirut.
From that point on (around 1h) the club never stopped moving. During the first 10 mins, the music was so loud that some of the speakers of the club started distorting!
Musically speaking, again sorry i'm not good with styles and tracks, the style was very different from what was played in Beirut last year. A lot harder, a lot more progressive. I could only stay untill 3 (it was a sunday, my friends had work in Toronto, its a 150 km drive...)

There were about 800 people present, the event was sold out!
the clubbers are a bit more "well behaved" than the clubbers in events in Beirut, the girl bo ratio is close to 1:2, there are people of all nationalities and all ages (above 19 of course), so its kind of diverse!
BUT, clubbers don't seem to "feel" the music as it happens in Beirut! Now I understand why DJs have a wonderful time in Lebanon! During my night, I missed the shouting of the DJs name (TI ES TO! TI ES TO!) and the massive sound of hand clapping!
In conclusion, I had a great time, I'm sure you WILL have a great time when Tiesto comes to Beirut, Beirut's clubbers KICK ASS more than anyone in the WORLD!
I wish i could have dwelled more on music style and tracklist, but again...
Have fun in Beirut! hope there will be an event during XMAS/New year so that I can attend!
