I'm trying to work on a mix with the newest, hottest uplifting tunes.
Tell me about your favorite uplifting " fairly recent" track that u heard.

mine would be~~~~~~~~ Gold Rush- Early Days.

*I don't know, i might be helucinating... but it seems to me that its really, really hard now to find some quality uplifting trance tracks.... could it possibly starting to become something of the past?

u should've titled ur topic: ''Uplifing Trance, Everyone?'' :p

sorry... can't help, not my type of trance, but I believe crappy and good
productions are found everywhere. I personally think that quality is
dropping lately in all genres of trance due to mainstream and increasing
popularity beyond control, but guess the majority of trance fans would be
satisfied by what uplifting trance has grown into...

after all... the top notch and most popular DJs in the world are mainly fans
of uplifting trance ;)

evolves yes - but to the worse. evolutuion is not always towards the good
of a certain genre of music. i can't recall a type of music that evolved
and became popular and kept its quality at top notch. it's not about
dance music: pop, rock, rap... it's all become full of crap. how ften can u
run into a decent producer of those? (andwhen u do, it's one of those old
one's on the scene).

anyhow, back to trance.

Trance is music in the end of the day despite the technicalities in its
structure and message that delivers.
I've been in trance for years and few are those that actually kept their
sound at a certain level of quality- changed? yes, sure.. that's inevitable.
but not necessarily towards the best. they simplified it to suitthe majority
of listeners that in many cases have nothiung to do with trance. as for us
(i'm including u as one of the old-trance-sound-fans) - who caught trance
in earlier stages than now - aren't totally satisfied with that. no.. not
cheesy. just 'not as good'.
