what the hell is Fatboy Slim's and Moby's music called?
is it electronic? i dont think so...at least not nowadays..
its barely 'dance music'.. i just caught Fatboy Slim's new single today (dont
remember its name) and i was like, is this the same man behind Right Here
Right Now, Ya Mama, and the rest at that time? he was bangin Brighton with
a beach party every summer, but not anymore..the bald brit faded!!
same goes for Moby, that's not the same man in Natural Blues or whatever
other tunes he might've came up with..
then those two (that r at least still more into dance)..Basement Jaxx and
Chemical Brothers?
Kish Kash..what the hell was in it? what music is this?
Extagavanza?... just a silly loop..
u can still dance...(well..kinda) but its not the same lads back in the 90's..
anybody noticed such an 'evolution'? any name for it?
thanks!
PS: what happened to Planet Funk? (not daftpunk!..Planet Funk..remember?
Chase the Sun?)

General electronic
and it varies then, from break beats to trip hop, progressive house and so.
Complex yet rich music they produce, always appreciated by me
I saw the Chemical Brothers live once, O H M Y G O D the things they do, they r a lot man its like the whole family is on the stage and everyone is playin a fukin weird electronic keyboard and drum machine and they all coordinate so well, + they were 2 on turntables doin sctraches and stuff, AHHHHHHHHHHHHH they drive u crazy man, C R A Z Y.

^ i wish i knew..that tune was really good..'Chase the Sun'.. i loved it,
well..it was kinda what brought me to electronica with Fatboy Slim
Pat, i know they r mighty artists. im not denying that, but their productions
lately r out of proportion and a bit out of definition. and i dont think they
have to do with progg house (guess u know best: i never saw them live)
probably tech house for Bassment Jaxx back in the 90's though..i dont
think its like that now..
anyhow, still appreciated and awaited productions come out of those ppl
but their music doesnt go under the banner 'clubbing' anymore..
btw, Patrick, u mentioned u were in UK. when, where, and for how long?
what were u doin there? and what took u to Kuwait if u were in UK?
where u in London? where about?

well for Planet Funk their latest release was:
Planet Funk - The Switch
01.The Switch Radio Edit
02.The Switch Sunset Strippers Club Mix
03.The Switch King Unique Pushin Vocal
04.The Switch Album Version
but it's nothing big if you ask me.. i hope "Chase The Sun" wont turn out to be a onetime hit wonder..
as for Moby and the rest, well i've been saying this for a long time.. imo there's a downhill for almost all styles of music (thank god except for trance which is currently going stronger..) as for the rest, we're kinda lacking creativity and originality...
Basement Jaxx, Chemical Brothers, Fatboy Slim can be all categorized into Dance/Eclectronic though they have some varied productions as well..
Moby is more of a pop/electronic producer.. some of his productions are just too weird to be categorized!
