No wonder by now you are all familiar with a little video: ...I can live with the extensive and useless shouting...I can live with a DJ jumping around thinking he's James Hetfield or something...but I certainly cannot live with the ridiculous music being played and the crappy mixing...ah well...after doing some more extensive research I found out that apparently more than 95% of the Lebanese DJs who represent the electronic music scene play that kind of trash...can't blame them...it gets people moving shouting, girls suddenly feel a strange rush of adrenalin storming them from toes to brain cells and have to take it on someone...oops mind you, she is not legal...but that is another topic (and no do NOT get started)...
Now again don't get me wrong I'm all for showcasing young talents and giving them opportunities...but some limits have to be drawn...but who can blame limits when the whole music scene in the whole region is going down the drain (I'm talking every kind of music out there...did you know that Egyptian singers had to do a test in front of a jury and get a license if they were to be tagged as singers back in the time??)...
A few months ago I talked about my frustration towards our scene...after some despicable events things seemed to improve...but looking at it...the problem seems to run deeper...much deeper...and in my opinion there is only one solution...brace yourselves:

Bring back the rock!!!

Point is when you learn about the other music out there your mind tends to automatically filter the sounds that you will like for future references...variety is good and if you want a little proof just check the Azuli's Choice Collection compilations...and specifically Danny Howells'...CD2 is a full on alternative experience with a lot of soft rock oldies...now isn't it the expression of someone who got exposed to so many sounds back in the day??
So to sum things up...don't restrain your musical choices to what the people listen to or the radio DJs play...expand your horizons and dig deeper...most of the educated members here probably know what I'm talking about here so it goes out to every single new person new to electronic or new to music per se...
Just don't turn up like this guy:

A certain DJ that got famous for all the wrong reasons...
