What's taking Alex M.O.R.P.H. too long to finish that album?!
Wasn't it announced in late 2005 or 2006??
It's either it's going to be the BEST album in the world, or the shittiest album that took too long to compose.

Sound engineers over charging these days to master his tracks.

Yeah. Alex doesn't really compose his own stuff anymore. He uses the help of engineers such as Woody van Eyden.

Sometimes i have the feeling that nowadays everyone uses the help or advice of everyone. Exchanging ideas, collaborating, or just asking for advice and opinions. Nothing surprising, nothing to be mad about i suppose, except for a few cases.
Concerning Alex and the engineers it's true. He said it in an interview for Trance.nu. Dunno if it's still in the interview section but you can look for it

And an interview that he did with us.
I love how Raneem walks in with his ego

Exactly. So HE doesn't compose HIS
own stuff anymore.
He works TOGETHER with HIS
engineers.

Anyway, I'm just wondering what the hell happened to his album. This has been taking way too long and my patience has run out!

Re: "Engineers"
The use of engineers are personal. It could be to create a whole track itself, or to 'help' in some areas in which the person didn't have the proper knowledge. Glenn Morrison is quite a talented producer himself, but he got Deadmau5 to do "Contact", fully. MAYBE Glenn gave him a midi file of the notes/chords that should be played, but otherwise, it was entirely composed by Joel. Same goes for David Newsum (also known as Activa's stunt double), its got Activa written all over it ... but a slight difference, which could be Newsums' input. Maybe they have 'co-producers', maybe that's their own way of saying "I dont know shit" or maybe it really is "I'm a little technically disabled". Either way, I don't care as long as they put out a good track. Those who can lay a decent track down by themselves without the aid of an (assistant?) engineer at all can be classified as a 'producer' in their own right.
Re: "Album"
Honestly, I think some tracks would be good, some would be so-so. If he's taking this long after he said he started it, he better come up with something no one ever thought of.
