Live sets or radio shows??

So what do you prefer?? For me a radio show should reflect the scene's latest productions...so therefore the DJ has to drift a little bit out of his sound sometimes in order to play the newest releases...
A live set reflects a DJ's taste much more...he can play an old tune without any problem as long as it fits the set and the context (amongst many other things the DJ can do during a live set)...
So for me no question about it I'm a live-set fan...
How about yourselves??

A Radio show should be ear friendly.
A Live set should be ass friendly.
and my opinion: Depends on my mood!

Definitely live set. This is a no-brainer.
I don't care about what's new in EDM. I care about what's good.
If good means a set from 1997; then I'm happy enough - gimme!
I also prefer sets because they are a true reflection of the DJ's sound, in that
moment, at that venue, and with that type of clubbers. I find that far more
important and appealing than a radio show to promote new music.

Live sets are annoying, you gotta bare the crowd noise, and it's distracting, when you're a home listener the last thing you need is noise specially with EDM music even low quality mp3 ruins the sound of the song ,it's more realistic cause you get to hear how the crowd reacts to the music but i rather be there instead,i wouldn't listen to a live set unless it's actually live hence the bad sound quality part.
Radio shows are ear friendly like Raneem said.
A question a has been removed.

Certainly live sets.
I think it brings out the best in the dj, since he's not in his studio recording a show, it's the real deal. It shows how good is his selection, his taste, how good is his mixing.
He aims to please his crowd by keeping them satisfied.

it does depend on the mood thats for sure .... the same goes for compilations ...
but live sets are always edgier , because the Dj has to surprise the listners every now and then ... but its also a good feeling hearing a great track for the first time on a radio show...
