What I mean by animations is the dancers fireworks and other kind of performances during events...do we tend to over do that in Lebanon to a point where people stop paying attention to the DJ and the music and instead stare at the hot chick wearing a glow sticks outfit or is it on the exact opposite very trivial and nothing special about it??
Let's hear out your opinions...

YES YOU FUCKING DO! LOL!!!!!!
It's like part of your party culture hahahaha. As if your events CANNOT exist without these dancers and fire people ...etc.
EDIT: Oh yes.. And the Lebanese flag that appears every now and then

Seriously do we really need to see the flag?

PsyCult.. send your remarks to them
Personally, I think the fire shows have been used and abused. Eno khalas.

I think 'cause of the large arena and the extremely large number of people, few are witnessing the dancers and chicks with glow sticks etc ...
Even though, I think these animations add a nice ambiance to the event.
It won't be like a "DJ..room..crowd"thing.

haha... VVIP...
I remember Leon and Joop saying, when they heard the add of their own show in leb..
" Yeah.. Annnd for VVVVVIP, you get to be the DJ!!!!
".. lol
I do agree that animation has been abused in leb...
But i guess it's the cheapest thing around. Cheaper than decent fireworks and setup, and much cheaper and time efficient than putting on a decent motion picture....
And people here love to see flesh!! So give the masses what they want... no?..

MixFM James Zabiela night had an amazing and trippy video on the screens + live close ups of Zabiela mixing
Tarkan at B018 had great video visuals.. trippy
Bob Sinclar had a great real water-fall wall with visuals displayed on it which was something new and quite trippy.
And yes, "Sleepless" 2007 visuals were wicked, especially Michel De Hey night if I remember correctly.

I blame unexperienced organizers for such naive faults (organizers that Underestimate people's experience in music or events.)It's all in the cycle of doing it for the money and pre judgment that people attending will dance and cheer to anything! Can you still blame some djs who play horrible sets?
Most of the time it's a good idea gone bad because some people think extreme is what the crowd wants.I understand having dancing girls in special artist shows, album release parties with prior agreement with the artist if it helps drawing an image of a certain song, but it makes no sense in live events and international tours when these dancers randomly show up hence the money invested to bring professional dancers or should i say strippers? No one goes back home and says damn the dancers were the highlight of my night.(I hope not.),organizers should invest or use their creativity on other issues that are considered as extras here but everywhere else they're basics of a successful event.
