Lots of DJs and producers out there...but for some reason it's the prog that comes out of Greece, Turkey and Argentina that impresses me the most...guys like V-Sag, Tarkan, Murat Uncuoglu (I hope I pronounced it right), Greg Siokos and Pablo Roma (amongst others) are always dishing out amazing productions...music is a universal language but what country is in your opinion the most productive when it comes to releasing quality progressive??

Don't underestimate the Swedes, Alain. Swedish progressive is class.
I'm very impressed by Greek artists getting into the scene with very good
names and releases. The UK hasn't lost it yet, but they're not as great as
a decade ago. They have good prog DJs, but their level of production is
stuck in a loop.
But I guess this is normal; Netherland & Belgium are huge in tech because
tech is the product of eurodance from the 80's that was big in those
countries. The UK are good at prog as this is the offspring of 80's house.
The only country in my opinion that is the most diverse in hosting a vast
array of different sounds is without a doubt Germany. See, Germans are
not in the number 1 at producing any kind of music as they work on
everything: they compose anything from ambient to electronica to tech to
melodic to prog to psy... they don't excel at it which is why they're not up
there in any one type of music but they're always there injecting their
contribution into the scene.

Quality progressive house with psychedelic sounds and oriental instruments from Israel ( Moshic ) but too bad he is the only prog producer (known/quality) in his country

so it doesn't count as the most productive.
and as Nesta said Prog house is dieing but NOT dead, am getting more into techno these days
