Hey guys,

A good friend of mine is opening a new pub in Gemmayzeh and is contemplating having Ambient/Chillout music played throughout the weekdays excluding Fridays and Saturdays. Most pubs in Gemmayzeh play a mix of oldies and easy-listening mainstream stuff on weekdays, and none (to my knowledge) offer any Ambient/Chillout.

I'd like to get your input on such an idea, as it would greatly help my friend out in deciding on the theme of the pub.

great initiative! I just love ambient in pubs.. as for the theme, go Japanese! fill the place with low tables and couches...
..and let me know me when the opening take place!

Icepick, we're considering Ambient/Chillout for the weekdays, not the weekends And zip your yap for now so you don't ruin my surprise

rob, a bit too late for the theme now, though it wouldn't be too appropriate for a "dance" weekend... will keep you posted with the opening date once it's final!

Looking forward to some more (detailed) opinions guys, they're much needed and appreciated so keep them coming!
