Trance Influenced Arabic???? FTW !

[align=left]Oke...so the other day in school sitting in math class hoping the hour would end, but to my joy the supervisor comes in and tells us to get down to the theatre...i was like oooh now we get to loose time and relax...we go down..turns out all about the beirut marathon thing and people running and all that..well the dude showed us a video of the marathon, and well the video was cool and all, but what attracted my attention is the background track, and vocals in arabic with TRANCE SYNTHS And structure....how the hell did arabic come trance ????? anyway after a minute or two of the track an oriental instrument comes in and all that, track ends...and then haifa pops out in the screen again singing to trance influenced arabic tunes...and the clip was shot in studio, with nancy ajram and two other arabic singers i dunno names of...

So whats the deal with arabic tunes and trance? Arabic becoming more influenced by Trance and trance instruments!!! ELABORATE !!! [/align]

Well it would be insteresting as hell to have a Decent trance track with Arabic vocals!! Why not?

But definitely not haifa as the vocalist

I'm not imagining a vocal Trance track with Arabic lyrics... it just doesn't fit. It just doesn't... it would be like... torturing the music... like... distorting the music! *scared*
Check Ayu - M (and another track of her). Japanese lyrics are nice cuz this language is nice to hear! Arabic lyrics are good only for Arabic music.

Just for your info, There's a special track for the Marathon sang by Haifa, Nancy, Joe Ashakar, Dina hayek, and many other lebanese artists. I know it exists, but i never heard it. It seems it's the one you're talking about.

By the way, more than that, Haifa has already two "arabic" Trance tracks, in her albums.
Haifa - Ma Sar (2002)

Haifa - Ana Haifa (2005) ---> which was stolen from Shaun Baker - Music, Love & Money

Both have gr8 music honestly anyway.

I Highly doubt that arabic voices and trance could actually come together.. I mean theres no connection.. If arabic singers could actually try something other then love songs for a change.. then we wod get somewhere..
