I think that when Darwin first proposed his theory on evolution he did not expect it to spread and include electronic music...

People move on and learn to appreciate new genres and music that they discover...

I for myself got introduced to electronic music through trance and when I started listening to GU's I learned about other types of electronic music and got hooked to them without totally neglecting trance...God knows I'm continuously updated on the trance releases out there...

People don't evolve...they discover...

As for the "electro-trance genre"... i mean, please, what's going on? One of the biggest bullshits i hear in the music scene is the bullshit about those "new EDM genres". The main EDM genres are influenced by one another, Trance by Techno, Techno by Minimal, Minimal by Electro. But it's not enough to make a whole new genre!
(again... senseless to start this debate for the zillionth time. I just had to say it cuz i lost my temper on this one
