I wouldn't try if I were you. If he thinks that trance is dead or dieing atleast, then it's going to be hard to convince him otherwise. People who get into house music don't usually go back to trance.
Besides, why even try and convince him when he knows ALOT about trance to say it's dieing? hmmm? *inserts sarcasm*
