Your favorite Trance sub-genre?

I like Trance so mad... But without doubt, my favorite sub-genre is the Progressive trance... Why? ´cuz contains elements of house, techno and ambient music. Contains intuitive elements that make it generally more "catchy" without 4get the electronic effects and the vocals which drive me crazy

Although I do listen to all the genres....the most that gets me ticking is progressive. Its got the funk that makes my head bob backwards
.
But...to go energetic and all...i'd have to go with Tech & Psychadelic. Uplifting is great to set u in a certain mood and take u on a nice little journey.

Raneem, if a DJ drops 1 or 2 Prg Trance Tracks among a 3 - 4 hours set then we cant really consider him as a Trance DJ.. it's the same as the Trance DJs if they drop 1 or 2 House Tracks..
These days, most DJs are playing everything from House to Trance to Techno.. but if you wanna label them correctly you'll have to take a look at their own productions, Mixes and majority of their tracks played in their sets, for that you can easily consider Sasha as a House DJ!

uplifting,tech,Psyyy,melodic..it's hard to decide,but any sub-genre that delivers the elements we all long to find in a trance track:Energy;beauty
