Is anyone as disappointed as me when it comes to the Mau5??I mean he was definitely the big revelation of 2007 but what has he offered in 2008??Pretty much nothing...most of his productions weren't worth a nickel and he didn't offer anything new in matter of sound and tunes...not to mention the Oslo incident with Schossow...

Kind of reminds me what happened to Dirty South music-wise...

True my friend.. You cant compare between 07 and 08.. I was planning to attend his gig in dubai end of the month but cancelled it cuz its not worth going all the way to lsn to his new *hits*..

Well I've been a fan of the mau5 for a very little period (when I was still listening to Electro) I used to love Nubreed - NufFunk [Deadmau5 Remix]!
Now the only track for Deadmau5 that I Still like is Faxing Berlin

I Prefer Schossow over Deadmau5 tho..!

Not Exactly was one of the tracks of 2007 for me, and I agree, he's been disappointing this year. He's producing a lot, but not all of it is of the quality that he produced last year, i.e. Not Exactly, Arguru, Faxing Barlin, Jaded...

I think he spends way too much time in the studio... I still like Jaded, Faxing Berlin and his remix of The Longest Road, but most of his other productions are more or less similar and dull, at least in my opinion...

It seems I'm not the only one who thought he was having a rough time this year

...but as many of you said he is talented enough...let's hope he will come back with a fresh sound by the end of the year and stop hammering us now with remixes that just aren't doing it for us...

On a side note The Music Room section reached a milestone with this topic(noticed it yesterday)...so congrats and thank you to all of you
